Here is a quick break-down of all six Super League games taking place in Round 2, as well as their predictor weightings…
Wakefield Trinity v Hull KR
Trinity have home advantage in Round 2 and will welcome last year’s beaten Grand Finalists, Hull KR. Both got off to a winning start in the opening round, but who will make it two from two?
Trinity won their first match of the 2025 Super League season against Leeds Rhinos last Saturday and will be looking to win their first two of a new campaign for the first time since 2018.
Weighted predictions have the home side down as huge underdogs, however, for the Robins have won each of their last three Super League matches against Wakefield, including a huge 56-12 victory in September 2023…
Weighted predictions: Trinity (1 point), Robins (9 points)
Warrington Wolves v Catalans Dragons
Friday night sees Warrington Wolves in action at The Luke Littler Stadium for one night only! They’ll entertain Catalans Dragons – a side who have won each of their last three Super League away matches at the Wolves.
Will Warrington continue their perfect start, or can Catalans get off the mark?
Weighted predictions: Wolves (4 points), Dragons (6 points)
Hull FC v Wigan Warriors
Incredibly, Hull FC have won each of their last three Super League home matches against Wigan Warriors, but the current champions are expected to fiercely bounce back following their 0-1 home defeat to Leigh Leopards in the opening round.
Can Hull back up their brilliant Round 1 win on home soil? Predicting Hull could earn you a staggering nine points should they come out winners on Friday night!
Weighted predictions: Hull FC (1 point), Warriors (9 points)
Salford Red Devils v Leeds Rhinos
It was one apiece in 2024 with the Rhinos triumphing 22-16 last February, before the Red Devils were victors in the reverse fixture – with exactly the same scoreline.
What does Saturday’s game have in store and who will claim their first win of the new season?
Weighted predictions: Red Devils (4 points), Rhinos (6 points)
Castleford Tigers v St Helens
St Helens have a better winning record in their recent meetings with Castleford Tigers – although Cas did pull off a shock and beat them 6-8 at the Totally Wicked Stadium in Round 16 last year.
Danny McGuire’s men showed promising signs in their Round 1 performance against Hull KR but can they capitalise at the Jungle?
Weighted predictions: Tigers (7 points), Saints (3 points)
Leigh Leopards v Huddersfield Giants
Leigh Leopards have won four of their last five Super League matches against Huddersfield Giants, although the Giants did defeat the Leopards at last time out at the Leigh Sports Village.
The Leopards secured a historic and pulsating victory against current champions Wigan in Round 1 and could create even more history on Sunday by winning their first two games of a new campaign for the very first time.
But standing in their way are Luke Robinson's Giants, who are seeking their first win.
Who do you think will come away with the two points?
Weighted predictions: Leopards (3 points), Giants (7 points)
